Early Years

The Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFS) framework sets the standards that
all early years providers must meet to ensure children learn and develop well and
are kept safe and healthy.

The Foundation Stage has its own framework and is therefore treated as a separate
Key Stage. Foundation Stage 1 (FS1-Nursery) and Foundation Stage 2 (FS2-
Reception).

At Aldbury Primary and Nursery School, Class 1 is a mixed Nursery and Reception
class.
