The traditions of Maypole dancing are felt strongly at Aldbury and everyone gets stuck in together!

π What a fantastic day we had yesterday at Tring School's Cross Country event! Our amazing children from Year 3-6 showed incredible determination and teamwork, securing victory in 3 out of 4 events! π₯π₯π₯
Everyone did incredibly well and even some of the less experienced runners persisted and completed their runs. Every stride was filled with pride and sportsmanship. πΈπ

Ahoy! π Before the Easter break Class 4 set sail into the world of the Vikings with their incredible handmade longboats! βοΈ Using a mix of wood, cardboard, paint and more, our students created mini-masterpieces that pay homage to these ancient seafaring vessels. π¨π

Yesterday, Aldbury hosted an amazing BMX Workshop with Mike Mullen for Years 3-6! π΄βοΈEveryone was captivated as they watched him showcase jaw-dropping tricks during assembly.
π After the demonstration, our budding BMX riders had the chance to try out some of the tricks themselves! It was a fantastic opportunity for them to put their new knowledge into practice and unleash their inner daredevils. The energy and excitement were truly contagious!
π We're incredibly proud of our students for embracing the BMX spirit and fearlessly pushing their limits. Who knows, maybe we have some future BMX stars in the making! π
π΅ We were in for a treat yesterday with our music assembly! ππ» From Year 2 all the way up to Year 6, our talented students showcased their musical skills with instruments including keyboard, guitar and violin. πΉπΈπ» We mustn't forget about our amazing choir who performed two excellent songs! π΅πΆ
Despite a few pesky technical difficulties, our incredible students pushed through and delivered amazing performances! π Their determination and hard work really paid off - there is a lot of talent amongst them! π
This week we were treated to Class 3's incredible Mega Assembly on natural disasters! π
π The assembly was a fantastic showcase of their topic work, featuring songs and dramatic performances. The students explored the powerful forces of nature and shared their knowledge!
π΅ From tornadoes to earthquakes, the children brought these natural phenomena to life through their immersive performances. They demonstrated great teamwork and creativity, truly embodying the spirit of learning.
π We are so proud of Class 3 for their hard work and dedication in putting together this spectacular assembly. It was an opportunity for them to combine their classroom learning with the performing arts, resulting in a truly great event!
