Class 2 proved that learning doesn't always fit into one box last week! What began as a Science investigation into local flora quickly evolved into a fantastic Maths session. The children headed out to the school grounds to hunt for and classify various leaves, identifying the unique shapes and margins of our local trees.

Once back in the classroom, the focus shifted to data. The pupils worked together to tally their findings and create a live "popularity" chart to determine which tree species reigned supreme on our site. It was a brilliant way to see how scientific observation and mathematical analysis work hand-in-hand to help us understand the world around us. 📊🌳
