β˜€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Sports Day 2025 – A Scorcher of a Success! πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈβ˜€οΈ

Despite the soaring temperatures, yesterday’s Sports Day was a huge success and a true celebration of energy, teamwork and community spirit! From the first whistle to the final picnic blanket, the children gave it their all and made us incredibly proud.

We kicked off with a round robin of events, including javelin, jumping and hurdle challenges — all designed to get everyone involved and having fun. Then came the much-anticipated races, with crowd favourites like the egg and spoon causing both cheers and a few wobbly finishes!

πŸ† Green House were crowned overall champions — but only by the narrowest of margins! Every house showed outstanding determination and sportsmanship throughout the day.

A big highlight was the tunnel ball challenge — with a round for parents and a fantastic staff vs. pupils match! The clear winners? The brilliant Year 10 students from Tring School, who supported the day so wonderfully. We’re so grateful for their help, enthusiasm and good humour.

Enormous thanks to our amazing families, who made use of the shady spots, misting sprays and iced water to keep cool while cheering everyone on. We rounded off the day with a relaxed whole-school picnic, bringing everyone together after a packed morning of fun.

A huge well done to all the children — you were resilient, supportive and full of joy. What a fantastic day! πŸŒΏπŸ’§πŸ‰
