📏🌳 This week, Year 6 took their maths learning outdoors for some fantastic hands-on work applying their knowledge of ratio, measure and calculation. Working in pairs, they explored the school grounds and used trundle wheels, metre sticks and their maths skills to create scale diagrams of the playground and surrounding outdoor spaces.
It was brilliant to see them solving real-life problems, discussing ideas and working collaboratively — all while reinforcing key concepts from the classroom in a practical, meaningful way. Well done, Year 6! 🧠🔍
