✈️ Class 2 Visit to RAF Hendon

Class 2 had a fantastic visit to the RAF Musueum in Hendon to complete their topic on the history of flight. The children impressed everyone with the knowledge they have gained during the topic — confidently sharing facts about the Wright Brothers, the dates of their first flights, and even discussing the mystery surrounding Amelia Earhart’s lost plane.

The children were also fascinated to learn more about the history of Hendon itself, exploring old maps and using magnifying glasses to investigate the local area and its important role in aviation history. They discovered how pilots were trained there and how flights departed from Hendon during both World Wars.

A brilliant day full of curiosity, history, and hands-on learning! ✈️✨
