This week, our talented pupils have been diving into the magnificent world of Pieter de Hooch's 'The Courtyard of a House in Delft' for their Take One Picture art project!
🌟 Class 4, our oldest children, are hard at work on a stunning, oversized Aldbury rendition of this timeless piece. Their creativity knows no bounds as they transform a plain canvas into a vibrant interpretation of art! 🖌️
🎭 Meanwhile, Class 2 has added an exciting twist by incorporating music and drama elements into their creative projects. They have been thinking about the history of the painting and what might have happened next! 🎶✨
📚 And let's not forget our budding artists in Class 3! They began the week by exploring tiny sections of the artwork and have since zoomed out to find out if their predictions were correct. They've even managed to weave in their reading skills! 📖👀
We've captured some great moments during these art sessions, and we're excited to share them!
